I've posted onto the existing issue at http://code.google.com/p/google-web-toolkit/issues/detail?id=1127, but so far no response from the GWT team. I'll post to contributors and see what comes of it. Don't want to spend the time to make it gwt compatible if it's not going to go into gwt. Even if it's not wanted for GWT though, I'll post it as is (a little standalone lib) soon.
