Hi, I have had to rebuild and reinstall the Ubuntu box on which I have been running Eclipse + GWT for a long time but something is strange.
After reinstalling and booting the box I started Eclipse as an unprivileged user. The GWT buttons were not on the application tool- bar where I expected them to be. I said fine, I have to re-install GWT. I visit the GWT web site and follow the install the plug-in steps. This appears to work and then askes me to restart Eclipse. Ok, I restart and the tool-bar icons are still not there. I check the list of installed software and GWT sdk, plug-in etc are listed. I uninstall them, restart, re-install, restart and still no joy. I will try the GWT installation as a privileged user. IDEAS? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Web Toolkit" group.
