Hi,

your example does not work for me.

<g:VerticalPanel horizontalAlignment="ALIGN_MIDDLE">

This means AFAIK that the content of the VerticalPanel are aligned
within the VerticalPanel, but not the VerticalPanel itself.
Also it does not align vertically...
