Hi,
When I extend the LinkedHashmap (from java.util) (e.g. public class
MyMap extends LinkedHashmap<String,String> {} ),
I get the following error (MyMap is in the client package):
com.google.gwt.user.client.rpc.IncompatibleRemoteServiceException: The
response could not be deserialized at

According to this link
http://code.google.com/webtoolkit/doc/latest/RefJreEmulation.html
the LinkedHashmap is supported.
According to this link:
http://code.google.com/p/google-web-toolkit/issues/detail?id=3353&q=LinkedHashMap&colspec=ID%20Type%20Status%20Owner%20Milestone%20Summary%20Stars
this seems to be bug.
We are using 2.0.4 and it still occurs. We have a workaround now
(because we wanted to order of the keys exactly the same order as when
we store the keys).
Any comments on this welcome.
Regards,
Rokesh
