I've created a GWT browser for images (vector-based, live maps),
generated on the fly on the server. Every new image is displayed (when
the user click a button) using same Image widget by setting a new
address in SetUrl method. The server reports that every image is
generated in 0.1 second, so no bottleneck here. And here are the
results (using localhost):
1) IE v8 and v7 - the image changes instantly all the time,
2) Firefox 3.6 - the image changes after approximately 1 second - the
delay is clearly visible
3) Opera 10.63 - the image changes slightly slower than in IE but
still very fast
4) Chrome 7 - the image changes in a very random way: from IE
performance to Firefox sluggish 1 second delay. It changes from click
to click.

The question is:
Is it a better (more constant, faster) way to reload images or is it
some magical GWT command which will trigger re-fetching (like FetchNow
or something)

Many thanks
