Yes, there is:
<ui:with field='res' type='com.me.client.MyResources' />
The above's type points to your resource budle.
Then:
<g:Image resource="{res.myimage}" />
The above, res is the field name defined in with. myimage is some image
resource defined in you resource bundle. It is now typesafe and checked at
compiler time.
