Hi,

not sure if I understand the problem right,
I remeber having similar problem with google updates too. not sure what i
did then.. try

1 was using http insted of https so without ssl
2. some browsers have protection against manipulation\malware installed by
eg zone alarm, S&D

check add ons in ie
