It's been mentioned that in order for chained persistence to work with RequestFactory, you have to use the same EntityManager instance for a given request. What's the best way to accomplish that? I tried creating my own EntityManager factory based on ThreadLocal, but I wasn't sure when it would be safe to call EntityManager.close().
My preference is for something simple that will work in a regular Servlet environment so that I can continue using the GWT development server, if at all possible.
