Same here. The error happens in all Uibinder templates even if you create a new one. But when you set up a new GWT project, and create a new UiBinder template, it works. I thought that there was some problem in GWT projects with 2.1 version migrating to 2.2, but the thing is that it gives the same error in the Expenses app that comes with the SDK 2.2.0. If find a solution, report please.
