You have to
fireEventFromSource<http://google-web-toolkit.googlecode.com/svn/javadoc/2.2/com/google/gwt/event/shared/EventBus.html#fireEventFromSource(com.google.gwt.event.shared.GwtEvent,
java.lang.Object)>, using the proxy's class as the source:
clientFactory.getEventBus().fireEventFromSource(
new EntityProxyChange<CustomerProxy>(proxy, WriteOperation.PERSIST),
CustomerProxy.class);
I'm not sure this is a good thing though.
