Sorry Ben. Thanks for quick reply, it was a scrollbar issue. newItem scrolls to the bottom of the existing page, even if no new content is added. Is there any way to override this issue, without using Window.scrollTo(0,0) (which causes a small flash and doesn't look smooth)?
