A co-worker and I are having the exact same issue as the original poster in both Eclipse 3.5 and 3.6. I even setup a fresh installation of Eclipse 3.6, downloaded all the plugins, and created an example GWT project and it still didn't work. We have been fighting this all day as well and made no progress.
