Windows is supported. Also, the trunk prebuilt xpi and the one served through the auto updater are exactly the same (I just double checked this myself)
For version 1.0.10401, the sha1 sum is: fdae31ce05d5df5aae55abe62af7bb8f4143e0a8 The only explanation I can think is perhaps you installed an earlier version from trunk before we released and then Firefox disabled it and any updates?
