This mess has started with 2.3. If I simply upgrade my project from 2.2 to 2.3 without migrating from gwt to web.bindery, the project compiles but fails at run-time failing to locate a proxy when receiving a response from the server. But upgrading 2.2 to 2.3 with migration from gwt to web.bindery fails to compile.
