You can use 
RequestFactorySource<http://google-web-toolkit.googlecode.com/svn/javadoc/latest/com/google/web/bindery/requestfactory/vm/RequestFactorySource.html>to
 create a client instance (it can even run on Android devices, FWIW), 
then initialize it with a 
UrlRequestTransport<http://google-web-toolkit.googlecode.com/svn/javadoc/latest/com/google/web/bindery/requestfactory/vm/testing/UrlRequestTransport.html>,
 
or your own implementation based on Apache HttpClient or whatever.
