No. And AFAIK, there's no roadmap (at least no public one; there's never

a good start (also try removing the Milestone filter, as the milestone is 
not always set; but unfortunately a bunch of things that shipped in 2.4 are 
also still marked as FixedNotReleased).

so don't expect it to be released as part of the next GWT release. There's 
been some changes proposed already to support this new mode though, so it's 
being worked on, for sure: http://gwt-code-reviews.appspot.com/1594803/
