I'm trying to implement an drag-like UI gesture where the user clicks on a shape in a canvas, starts dragging it, and event handlers adjust a value and redraw the canvas, based on the position of the drag. I'm looking at the java doc for DragStartHandler, et al, but it's sparse. I thought I'd listen to mousemove, along with the drag events, but it stops when the drag starts. Is there a way to get the x,y positions as the drag proceeds? I'd do it all with mouse down, move, and up; except I loose the mouse-up event if it occurs outside the narrow canvas element.
