Maven defaults to Java 1.4 source and target. You have to tell it to use Java 5 or Java 6. See http://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-compiler-plugin/examples/set-compiler-source-and-target.html
See also http://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-compiler-plugin/compile-mojo.html#source So you can have: <properties> <maven.compiler.source>1.6</maven.compiler.source> <maven.compiler.target>1.6</maven.compiler.target> </properties> On Thursday, March 1, 2012 4:14:26 PM UTC+1, vinnie wrote: > > Hi - I'm attempting to convert my GWT app to build with maven.
