This > decreases market share and threatens the longevity of the product. > I agree the list should be kept up-to-date, but on the other hand, the fact Google uses GWT on products like AdSense, Groups, Orkut or Checkout is a sign it supports a fairly large range of browsers: ads is how Google makes money, AdSense is a "critical" product for Google, the Checkout Gadget that you can embed into your sites is also built with GWT, and again Google makes money with it, it *has* to Just Workâ˘.
