Hi all I am new to maven and using it in my project with *dependencies* GWT +Spring+Hibernate n using RequestFactory on eclipse helios. Lets see the steps i did :
1) Created project with instructed artifact and have pom as instructed. I guess everything is set up here. 2) Now as I am using RequestFactory need a servet mapping for RequestFactoryServlet to /gwt-request. 3) Problem : Whenever I edit web.xml for servlet or anything ----> and save it.---then run as web application/ maven gwt:run ---> EVERYTHING I HAVE EDITED IS UNDONE!! Noooo servel for RF and mapping is thr. I mean the whatever I typed in web.xml is not thr now. MAGIC!!! but not pleasant, [black magic] :(. HELP!!!
