I might suggest 
GWT-Maps-V3-Api<https://github.com/branflake2267/GWT-Maps-V3-Api>. As you can 
see from the 
showcase <http://gonevertical-apis.appspot.com/>, pretty much every maps 
feature is there and working. It is the 'beta' only because it has not been 
pushed out to Maven Central yet (JIRA is pending). Once that is ready I'll 
make it 3.8.0. There are also ~1K unit tests to confirm proper 
functionality. 

Right now I'm working on flushing out all the v3.9 API features (Heatmaps, 
Weather layers). Should have the 3.9.0 beta out this weekendm for download.

The download jars are from April, but you can build the current head if you 
like without issue. The code has been in production at sites like Cycling 
the Alps <http://www.cyclingthealps.com/> for half a year now.
