I want to run a Maven project: The example "atmosphere-gwt-chat" for the Atmosphere framework: http://search.maven.org/#search%7Cgav%7C1%7Cg%3A%22org.atmosphere.samples%22%20AND%20a%3A%22atmosphere-gwt-chat%22 I am totally new to Maven and I just want to get a working example in order to find out how it works. So I downloaded the POM file into a new directory and started maven in this directory. But it reports errors (see below). What is going on there? Where does Maven store the downloaded files?
