I just recently began working with RequestFactory and I have also come across this issue. Can anyone more experienced with this solution shed some light on the behavior of EntityProxyChange events? I am simply performing a read from the database. I would expect EntityProxyChange events (WriteOperation = UPDATE) only to be fired upon a merge (update) of an entity.
