As properties files are encoded in UTF-8, and Properties defaults to ISO-8859-1, you have to use the load(Reader) method: properties.load(new InputStreamReader(getClass(),getResourceAsStream(fileName), StandardCharsets.UTF_8))); Note that GWT.create(MyConstants.class) should be usable on the server-side in GWT 2.6 (not sure it'll make it, could possibly be GWT 2.7) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Web Toolkit" group.
