The problem is that you don't know in the beginning which issues are important. Most issues are not even bugs or hard to reproduce because it's so damn outdated. If I want to hack on GWT I don't want to spend ages in finding relevant issues.
If you find an important bug/issue marked as AssumedStale then talk about it.
