GWT builds an abstract syntax tree of your application during compilation. If your application is large, then the syntax tree is large and you simply need more memory in order to compile you application. The permutation thread optimizes this AST for a given permutation and finally converts it into Javascript.
So what you need are the JVM options -Xmx to increase the heap memory and maybe also -XX:MaxPermSize to increase the perm gen space. As an example, I need 4 GB of heap space in order to compile on of the applications I am working on. -- J. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Web Toolkit" group.
