Our GAE logs have many successful instances of

but also many errors where there were attempts to fetch the JavaScript
without the first part of the path.

We have observed this in the last few days on different browsers but only
intermittently (Chrome and FireFox; Windows 7 and Mac -- not on IE9 but
perhaps just chance). Refreshing the GWT app launch page sometimes works -
sometimes not.

We are mystified what could be causing this.

We are using GWT 2.5.1. The project was created with the Eclipse plugin and
has been working fine for about two years. There have been a few new
deployments in recent days.
