This is not a GWT question. If you want to access context parameters from the servlet, use WebApplicationContextUtils<http://static.springsource.org/spring/docs/2.5.x/api/org/springframework/web/context/support/WebApplicationContextUtils.html>and the HttpServlet that RemoteServiceServlet extends.
