Going through the instructions for getting GWT installed and running as described in http://www.gwtproject.org/gettingstarted.html. Created the demo app "Web Application Starter Project" and it runs in development mode just fine, however when trying to run in production mode by double clicking the generated .html file, I get the static html from the page, but it appears the server portion doesn't start up. Do I need to manually start the server before invoking the .html page? Many thanks!
