This is HUGE, I bet there are tons of files that are not needed to run the 
application (e.g. most of the time people don't use "deploy" files, so add 
"-deploy some-folder" arguments to the GWT compiler).
I think it also depends what you use to build/package and then deploy your 
app to AppEngine (e.g. a build tool like Maven vs. an IDE like Eclipse with 
the Google Plugin for Eclipse)
