If you have classloader issues, make sure you use 2.6.1 rather than 2.6.0. Also, I'd highly recommend you don't waste to much time on this given that DevMode will soon only work in Internet Explorer. Setup an external server and either use DevMode with -noserver or use SuperDevMode.
