I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction, or give me a
better question to ask. Let's say I have multiple input fields. If my
cursor is currently in field 1 and I click a button, I want a value put
into field 1. But if I am currently in field 2, I want the value put into
field 2. It is easy to always put the value in, say, field 1, but this is
a little more complex, largely because the button handler may not know what
field you are in.
