GWT already checks it (although error messages might not be perfect all the time). And in case something isn't checked correctly, it should be implemented into GWT itself. With SuperDevMode being the new default DevMode in GWT 2.7 typical GWT-RPC errors should show up quickly as a real (incremental) compile is done on each page reload.
