Dear Rein, I presume you are referring to SuperDev Mode. I actually never got it working. I kept a copy of the latest version of Chrome that works with the old debugger and I have been using that. I am sure my days of using the old debugger will end soon. I've just been trying to hold on to the old debugger as long as possible in order for SuperDev Mode to become better.
If you are referring to testing on a remote Windows machine, if I run the server (through IntelliJ) in non-debug mode, I am able to access it from a remote machine in the normal way.
