Hello,
I am writing a library of widgets for our projects.
Some of the objects have certain requirements, such as can only contain
another custom elements.
I have seen threads mentioning patching GWT to add an anotation (from 2010)
but that did not seem to go anywhere.
I also see the threads discussing the ElementParser and the need to
register your parser
...but I have not yet found a way to use any of these to validate my custom
objects at compile time.
I know I can implement the Has<foo> Interfaces, such as HasText, but that
is not what I need.

I can override addWidget and check for instanceof, but a runtime exception
is not as nice as a compile time error.

If this is possible and documented somewhere could someone please point me
in the right direction? I have exhausted my search options.

Thanks
