Hello All, I am third year medical student at SUNY Downstate located in Brooklyn, NY. Many of the patients we see here are of low socioeconomic status, have a limited education and have limited access to healthcare. In fact, many use multiple hospitals for primary care and some only see doctors during Emergencies. On the other hand the Physians here are extremely busy, sometimes seeying 40 patients in a day. There are obvious problems when it comes to properly managing patients in this setting.
I am probing the possibility of a having Doctor's using EMR, upload the patient's files on a USB drive. Patients can then "download the data and submit the difference back to the Google servers to have it show up in the user's Google Health account." - Mr. Jerry Lin I have been in contact with Mr. Jerry Lin who advised me to post here. My questions for you are Has anyone created such a service yet? What do you think the problems would be with creating this offline storage software/device? Could you please give me input on how this sort of thing can be approached? I appreciate any and all input. Thank you much Charles --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Health Developers" group.
