Hi Jo,

I would think that a link pointing to a video file would be all I
would want in my Google Health PHR.

This could be done today as a note that was something as simple as a link

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7sWgJxESpw

I created such a thing today in my test Google Health account -
pebbles.flintstone.test - I placed the link to the you tube video
under the procedures section

Conversely, you could place this under the Files and Images section I
guess. I added a video named "Lake.wmv" and Google Health supports
that - when you click on the file it downloads (vs opens and plays)

Otherwise, I would suggest you use some outside service like
medcommons.net and arrange a method where a voucher number an link to
a log-in screen is posted in the note - where a true CCR and DICOM
study could be opened in a new browser window and reviewed - I do not
think Google Health will really support DICOM viewing sessions, and
while I can see why a recording of sound and images might be very
useful, this is not much different than pointing to a file and some
player (again, like You Tube offers)

Using that approach, we might have a method (using HTML5) to offer
players for Apple iPad users (since it is pretty clear the Apple iPad
will not support the Flash that is required for many video players.

Hope this helps !
