Hello Fred, Doug, Jeff,

Great discussion; thanks all for sharing your questions, comments, and
links.

I've done a bit of digging, and found that Google has published user
experience recommendations for OpenID, which does suggest using a
Google logo, and gives an example:

http://sites.google.com/site/oauthgoog/UXFedLogin/summary

This site should be a good place to find UX suggestions and guidelines
for OpenID support for your site. Also, if you haven't already run
across it, there's documentation on API support for OpenID at the
following location:

http://code.google.com/apis/accounts/docs/OpenID.html

Also, there's a discussion on ideas about using the Google logo for
OpenID at the following location:

http://groups.google.com/group/google-federated-login-api/browse_thread/thread/a06e60935d16f91d/c0c122305e592c9d

The Federated Login API forum would likely be a great place to post
other questions about the Google logo with OpenID; but certainly feel
free to post Health-related questions in this forum.

One final note on OAuth, OpenID, and Health. Health currently does no
support the OpenID+OAuth "Hybrid" model that you may have read about.
Health certainly supports both individually, so you can use the two in
conjunction for use authentication and system authentication.
However, the OpenID authorization and OAuth token request steps aren't
unified for Health.

Good luck with your security design! I hope the above links and
information help.

Kind regards,
p...@google
