Google Health Developer Community,

The Google Health Team is very happy to announce the recent launch of
a new version of Google Health. We're extremely excited about the
opportunities that the new features offer to Health developers, and
we're looking forward to the new and interesting ways that the
community uses them.

Details about the release can be found on the Official Google Blog and
the "What's New" section of the Health site.

Although the updates have been focused around the user interface and
do not include significant API changes, we have done extensive testing
of the Health GData feeds to ensure that the old and new systems work
equivalently. If any of you do experience an integration issue,
however, we certainly ask that it be shared in the forum so that we
can work to resolve it as quickly as possible.

One change in the user interface that has affected how we generate the
CCR for the profile feed, but does not affect what CCR is generated,
is the transition of height and weight from the "Age, sex, height..."
section of the old UI, where we allowed a single entry for each, to
the "Wellness" and "Test results" sections of the new UI, where
multiple entries can be added for each. To maintain API
compatibility, we still emit one height and one weight entry in the
CCR VitalSigns section; however, these entries are now derived from
the most recent entries in the new UI sections. Height and weight
entries can be added to to these sections by posting CCR Results to
the profile or register feeds.

H9 has yet the be updated, but it will be soon. Please check back
early next week if you want to test the UI features in conjunction
with the GData feeds.

We thank all of you that have provided feedback along the way to help
shape the new Health release, and we certainly thank all of you for
participating as Google Health developers.

Best regards,
The Google Health Team
