Great questions! The main difference between the profile and register feeds
is that the former is designed for adding, retrieving, and manipulating
atomic data (individual GData entries/CCRDataObjects [Medications,
Conditions, TestResults, etc.]), and the latter is for posting composite
records (patient records, medication summaries, lab panels, etc.).
Composite test results, such as blood pressure measurements, cycling
distance and time, etc., are more complex that other atomic data, so the
profile feed currently doesn't support them; although, the register feed
does.

The Health team is aware of this situation, and we are considering various
alternatives to make dealing with composite results more easy to developers.
Until a fix is in place, however, the best strategy that I know of for
working with composite results like they are atomic data is to use the
register feed for posting them, and the profile feed for retrieving and
manipulating them.

In Skizo's case, he should consider using the register feed if he wishes to
post collections of data, or atomic posts to the profile feed if he wishes
to be able to later retrieve and/or manipulate individual results.

I certainly hope this helps! The team does hope to make dealing with
composite results easier. I'll definitely share any updates in the forum!
