The log files show why your device changes were overwritten and it was done by design. On the sync that you made your device changes a slow sync was forced. This was because the previous sync didn't complete successfully. During a slow sync the device re-sends all its data to the server. If these entries are different to the Google items during a slow sync the Google events take priority and are sent back to the device. Making changes to the device will be synchronised correctly to Google during a normal sync process. Unfortunately, if a sync fails or doesn't complete for some reason, chances are the next sync performed will be a slow sync and any device changes will be replaced by the entries from Google.
