I have a Nokia 6230 with an AT&T, now Cingular, (soon to be AT&T again) plan. My data works fine as I can use FlurryMail and other internet apps without an issue.
I've set up my phone using the settings listed below. When I go to sync this is what I see: "Initialising Sync" (for about 10 seconds...my G comes up in the top left corner) "Sync/sending data" (for about 2-5 minutes) "Syncroniziation Failed" I click Ok "Calendar:failed" I click Ok. Any and all suggestions are welcome. I've tried messing with the Data Bearer settings to conform with Cingular standards but I don't get anywhere. Here are my settings: Organizer -->Synchronization --> Settings--> Custom active internet sync sett.: Settings' Name: "GooSync" Data to be sync: Selected Calendar Database Addresses (for Calendar database):"Calendar" Username: my GooSync username Pw: my GooSync Pw Sync Server: http://www.goosync.com/sync/sync.aspx Connection Settings: Proxies: Enable Primary Proxy: 10.250.250.54:8080 Secondary Proxy: "8080 DataBearer: GPRS Bearer Settings: GPRS Access Pt: "proxy" Auth type: Normal Login type: Automatic Username: <blank> (have tried "a") PW: <blank> (have tried "a") This seems like an awesome application so I would love for it to work.
