I use Activesync to sync Outlook with my Windows smartphone, and then I use GooSync to sync my Smartphone with my Google Calendar.
What I'm finding is that when Outlook appointments with a list of invitees are in my Google Calendar, Google is sending email reminders to all the invitees - so in addition to the Outlook reminder that I set on the invite, the meeting guests also get an email from my Gmail account too... I've set the Google Calendar preference to not send reminders, but I think that the Outlook reminder setting is overriding that. I posted a question in the Calendar group about this, and the suggestion was to put my work appointments in a secondary calendar - because email reminders are only sent for appointments in the primary. Is there a way to tell GooSync to snyc into this secondary calendar? Or, is there another way to prevent email reminders being generated?
