Hi, This sounds to be a Google Calendar sharing issue.
If, when sharing a calendar with someone, you don't specify the correct sharing setting the other user won't be able to view the full event details. They will be able to see the time and date the event happens but the contents of it will be hidden. Please double-check the sharing status of this calendar and ensure that it is set so your wife can see all event details.
