Configuring an account requires too much brain power, I'm in the US, I don't regularly have to make international calls, and plugging in the basic country code 001+my number didn't seem to work. That I even have to manually select this is totally lame. You could easily just allow someone to give you their number and country from a drop down and munge the number correctly.
