Hi, GooSync will transfer the private flag between Google and your device.
With regards to the actual display in Google: if you share a calendar with someone and give them "See all event details" access they will be able to see your public entries as expected but any private entries will just be shown as "busy" or "available" when viewed from their account. Please note that the current version of GooSync only supports the "busy" flag when synchronising (if you create an event as "available" this will be shown as "busy" after synchronisation). We aim to implement support for the "available" flag in a future release of the service.
