I have a suggestion:
Maybe the multiday events could be sent to palm devices as multiple
consecutive single day events? In other words, for a trip that is 3
days long, the event would be "translated" and sent to the palm device
as 3 single day trips in a row....it is not entirely desirable but
would allow the palm device to approach what is being displayed on the
Google calendar. Is is much much much better than just having info
about the first day of the event on the palm device. Caution of course
would need to be applied so info on the palm device would not
inappropriately overwrite the info on Gogle Calendar (i.e. you
wouldn't want the 3-day event in Google Calendar split into 3 single
day events).
