I have a Sony Ericsson V600i and have set my timezone to be GMT on the phone, on Goosync and on Google calendar, but find that after a sync, the time of appointments created on Google are shown to be one hour early when viewed on the phone and events created on the phone are shown as one hour late when viewed on Google.
I have noticed that there are a few threads on this group that related to a simillar problem. The fix seems to be to turn off daylight saving on the phone and ensure that the timezone is the same on the phone, on Goosync and on Google. I have made sure that this is the case, but it still will not work for me correctly. The only way that I can get this to work for me is to set my phone timezone to be GMT+1.
