Hi If you are using a Windows Pocket PC/Smartphone or Palm OS/Treo device you can choose to sync using Tags or Categories.
When you select Categories, your default calendar (and the rest of your calendars) will be assigned a category name the same as your Google calendar name. This can be modified on the Calendar page off the My Device page. When you sync with Categories, GooSync will only sync items within the sync window for your selected calendars with matching categories. When you attempted to add an entry on the device, it appeared that you added the item without providing a category and so it did not show up in Google Calendar as you was not syncing a calendar with a blank category. To overcome this, if you go to the Calendars page in GooSync, blank out the category for your default calendar and save the changes. Perform a sync. After the sync your previous added items on the device (without a category) and any new items added on the device without a category will appear in Google Calendar as you are now syncing all items without a category to your default calendar Hope that makes sense.
