Fourth update: The reminder time issue resulted in one fix. Meanwhile, I discovered another item that did not sync over from Palm to Google -- an all-day appointment that recurs for two days next weekend. It's in a category that's syncing correctly and does not have a reminder. Not sure why it won't sync. I'll try to find some similar items to see if they've synced over to Google.
